Environment & Education Awareness Event in Agra

Smart Education & Welfare Association® ‘SEWA’ & PSF organized Environment Conservation and Women Education Awareness Event in Agra on Wednesday, 12-12-12. SEWA started this event with plantation by chief guest DFO Agra Mr.N.K.Janu (IFS), Labor court judge Mr. Shashikant Sharma (IAS) and ADA Secretary Mr. Ravinder Gupta (PCS). The entire honorable guest appreciates SEWA work. SEWA India present plants to guests.

SEWA Celebrate Diwali & Children's Day at Slum

Smart Education & Welfare Association® SEWA and PSF Celebrate Diwali on Children’s Day at slum area of Agra on Wednesday.

The Volunteers of SEWA & PSF have distributed crackers and sweets to children of the slum. SEWA’s Volunteer told them importance of Deepawali festival and Children’s Day.

            On this occasion Volunteer Mr. Ashok Agarwal, Alina, Sonu, Pinku, Shubham Agarwal, Rameez Raja, Shanu, Pooja Singh, S. Raju and Iqbal khan etc was present.

सेवा ने भी किया महिला हिंसा का विरोध

समाज में महिलाओं और खासकर नाबालिग बालिकाओं के खिलाफ हो रहे अपराधों, हिंसा और शोषण के खिलाफ सामाजिक संगठनों ने मोर्चा खोल दिया है। इसी कड़ी में उत्तर प्रदेश के सहारनपुर ज़िले में विभिन्न सामाजिक एंव गैर सरकारी संगठनों ने महिलाओं और नाबालिग बालिकाओं के खिलाफ हो रही हिंसा के विरोध में आवाज़ बुलंद की है। सहारनपुर के रोटरी कल्ब हॉल में महिला हिंसा विरोध सम्मेलन का आयोजन किया गया। इस सम्मेलन में कई प्रदेशों की महिलाओं ने भागेदारी कर उनके खिलाफ होने वाले अत्याचारों और शोषण के खिलाफ आवाज़ उठाई। 
महिला हिंसा विरोध सम्मेलन में स्मार्ट एजुकेशन एण्ड वैलफेयर एसोसिएशन (रजि.) सेवा के संस्थापक जाने-माने टीवी पत्रकार परवेज़ सागर और सेवा की प्रवक्ता नीना ढींगरा ने अपने सहयोगियों के साथ शिरकत की। उन्होने सम्मेलन में महिलाओं के अधिकारों और उनकी शिक्षा के मुद्दों पर बात की। सेवा ने मलाला युसुफज़ई का सामुहिक समर्थन करने पर भी ज़ोर दिया। 
सम्मेलन में सेवा के अलावा दिशा, विकल्प, ज्ञान गंगा शिक्षा समिति, घाड़ क्षेत्र महिला मोर्चा और राष्ट्रीय वन-जन श्रमजीवी मंच ने भागेदारी की। इस मौके पर सामाजिक कार्यकर्ता डॉ. सुरेन्द्र निश्चल, शाहिद ज़ुबैरी, दिनेश तेजान, कुदसिया अंजुम, रोमा, अशोक चौधरी समेत कई लोगों की उपस्थिति उल्लेखनीय रही। सेवा ने इस तरह के कार्यक्रमों में बढ़चढ़ कर सहयोग करने का संकल्प भी दोहराया।

International Day of the Girls Celebration

Reputed Non-Profit Organization, Smart Education & Welfare Association 'SEWA' and PSF Celebrate first International Day of the Girls in the city of Taj Mahal. This Day started in 2011 by the United Nation. International Day of the Girls dedicated to girl education and empowerment.

       October 11, is the First International Day of the Girl Child declared by The United Nations. It promotes girls’ rights and highlights gender inequalities that remain between girls and boys. The International Day of the Girl Child gives people and organizations the opportunity to raise public awareness of the different types of discrimination and abuse from which many girls around the world suffer.

        SEWA India and PSF Celebrate this occasion at Anwari Nilofer Girls Inter Collage, Mantola, Agra. Chief guest of programme ADM F/R Mr. CP Singh and Tourism Officer Geetanjali Yadav appreciate the work of SEWA. They appeal to students to get higher education for the bright future. Senior Volunteer S.Raju told to guest and students about work of SEWA India. He said SEWA will start a self employment trainig center and free education center in Agra very soon. He gave thanks to Chief Guest and collage staff for their cooperation in this event. On this occasion Collage Principal Mrs. Paini Kapoor, boys collage Principal Dr. Mohd. Mazhar, Choudhry Masroor Qureshi, Mrs. Beena Gaba, Mohd. Aakil, Anita Singh, Rameez Raja, Deepak Kumar, Zafar Abbas Rizvi, Dharmendra Singh, Haji Anjum Qureshi Saltanat Baig etc was present.

SEWA Celebrated Gandhi Jayanti

Non-Profit Organization Smart Education & Welfare Association® SEWA and PSF celebrated Gandhi Jayanti and Shashtri jayanti at Namra Public School, Saharanpur on 2^nd of October 2012. On this occasion SEWA’s senior volunteer Mrs. Neena Dhingra explain life summary of Mahatma Gandhi and Lal Bahadur Shashtri to students. SEWA distributed sweets, copies, pencils and new books to all students of SEWA free education center and Namra Public School.

                On this occasion SEWA’s officials M. Tanveer, M. Tabrez, Education Center Coordinator Mrs.Trannum Jnaha, Comrade Sharif Ahmad, Volunteer Praveen Kumar, Razia, Vishal Kashyap, Ram Kumar, Neha and Alina was present. 

SEWA organized Pulse Polio Vaccine Camp

Reputed Non-profit organization Smart Education & Welfare Association ‘SEWA’ organized Pulse Polio vaccine camp on Sunday at SEWA Free Education Center in Saharanpur (UP). Many children under five years get the polio drop by the SEWA’s Volunteers at this camp.

These are the Pulse Polio Programme and plans on which the hope of zero Polio children is to be given. With this day of Pulse Polio Sunday, everywhere in the country many camps and other promotion service centers are to be organized.

Main motive behind this SEWA camp is to achieve the target for nil patients for the disease in all over the city. In this camp cmc supervisor Sushma Bhatnagar, SEWA’s officials Mohd. Tabrez, Mrs. Trannum Janha, Mrs. Neena Dhingra, M. Tanveer, Praveen Kumar, comrade Sharif Ahamad etc were present as volunteers.

सेवा ने पल्स पोलियो के लिये निकाली रैली

सामाजिक संस्था स्मार्ट एजुकेशन एण्ड वैलफेयर एसोसिएशन (रजि.) ‘सेवा’
लगातार समाज में शिक्षा, स्वास्थ और पर्यावरण जागरुकता के लिये कार्य कर
रही है। सेवा का मकसद समाज को शिक्षा के माध्यम से जागरुक कर स्वस्थ
बनाना है। सेवा निरंतर पिछड़े इलाकों में पल्स पोलियो अभियान को सफल
बनाने के लिये जागरुकता अभियान चलाती आ रही है। इसी श्रृंखला में सेवा
निशुल्क शिक्षा केन्द्र के बच्चों ने पोलियो जारुकता रैली निकाल कर छोटे
बच्चों को पोलियो का दवा पिलाने का आह्वान किया।
        स्मार्ट एजुकेशन एण्ड वैलफेयर एसोसिएशन (रजि.) ‘सेवा’ ने शनिवार की सुबह
पुराना कलसिया रोड़ से जैन इंटर कॉलेज तक पोलियो जागरुकता रैली निकालकर
अभिभावकों से रविवार के दिन अपने बच्चों को पोलियो की दवा पिलाने की अपील
की। सेवा निशुल्क शिक्षा केन्द्र और नमरा पब्लिक स्कूल के छात्रों ने
सेवा के अधिकारी एम. तबरेज़ के नेतृत्व में सुबह नौ बजे हसन कॉलोनी से
जागरुकता रैली की शुरुआत की। रैली में शामिल हुये बच्चे हाथों में
पोलियों अभियान से जुड़े बैनर, तख्तियां और पोस्टर लिये हुये थे। सभी ने
पीले रंग की कैप भी पहनी थी। रैली के दौरान सेवा के स्वंयसेवियों ने
अभिभावकों से अपील करते हुये कहा कि रविवार को अपने पांच साल तक के
बच्चों को नज़दीकी पोलियो बूथ पर पोलियो की दवा ज़रुर पिलायें।
सेवा के स्वंयसेवी मोनू के मुताबिक संस्था के स्वंयसेवी और सदस्य पिछड़े
इलाकों में रहने वाले सभी अभिभावकों को ये बता रहे हैं कि पोलियों की दवा
अपने बच्चे को ज़रुर पिलायें इससे किसी भी तरह का नुकसान नही होता। पहले
भले ही आपके बच्चे ने पोलियो की खुराक पी हो लेकिन अपने पांच साल तक के
बच्चे को इसे बार-बार पिलाते रहें। बर्शते की बच्चे को किसी प्रकार का
बुखार ना हो।
रैली के बाद सेवा की और से बच्चों को फल और टॉफियों का वितरण किया गया।
रैली के आयोजन में सेवा केन्द्र की संचालिका तरन्नुम जहां, पल्स पोलियों
अभियान से जुड़ी सीएमसी रजिया, समाजसेवी कामरेड़ शरीफ अहमद, श्रीमती
नीना, धींगरा, एम.तनवीर, शहज़ादी, प्रवीण कुमार, मसूद, सनव्वर, विशाल
कश्यप, आशु और तुषार समेत सैंकड़ों स्कूली बच्चों ने भागेदारी की।

Teachers Day Celebration at SEWA Center

The mahila udyog vyapar pratinidhimandal and many trade & social group celebrate teacher’s day with poor and needy children at Free Education Center of reputed nonprofit organization Smart Education & Welfare Association (SEWA). On this occasion they honor SEWA’s volunteer teacher Trannum Janha. Team SEWA gave thanks to all the member of trade and social organization for this visit to their free education center.

The members of Mahila Udyog Vyapar Pratinidhimandal, Sadbhawna Mission and Saharanpur Vyapar Pratinidhimandal reached to SEWA Free Education Center for the celebration of teacher’s day. First they honor volunteer teacher mrs. Tarannum Janha with Shaal and flowers. After that all guest had interaction with students. They had words with children and distributed copy, pencils and sweets also. Children were very happy.

According to Senior Volunteer of SEWA Mrs Neena Dhingra and In charge of center M. Tabrez, The SMART EDUCATION & WELFARE ASSOCIATION® SEWA is registered under the Uttar Pradesh Societies Registration Act 1860. SEWA was founded on July 2009 by a noted and national media excellence award winner, a television journalist and social activist, Mr. Parvez Sagar. The idea behind the same was to make people from weaker sections of the society aware about their basic rights, so as to empower them in securing a due share in the resource churning of the country. The SEWA is committed to strengthen the Socio-economic weaker class by educating them and providing proper health services in their own local areas. Presently, the contribution for running this organization is informal made by way of its members and few supporters. Other than health and education, essential aspects related to environment, child right, women empowerment, vocational trainings, education for special children, social services including cloth and a book bank, etc are also integral part of SEWA’s working philosophies. It has been continuously working and rendering its help and support without any government funding.

On this occasion Chief guest Rohit Arora, Professor SK Upadhyay, Daljeet singh kocher,  Mrs. Alpna Talwar, Shiv Kumar Gaur, Sardar Jawaher singh dua, RK Malhotra, Surendra mohan chawla were specially present there. SEWA’s Coordinator Mohd. Tanveer, Mrs. Hameeda Asgar, Mrs. Aruna Birla, Gayyur Idrisi, Mrs. Rajendra Kaur, Mrs. Pratibha Shrivastav and Neeraj Jain made this event successful. Team SEWA India gave thanks to all the member of trade and social organization for this programme. 

सेव गर्ल चाइल्ड के लिये टीना मेहता सेवा के साथ

आगरा। शिक्षा, स्वास्थ और पर्यावरण सरंक्षण के लिये काम करने वाली सामाजिक संस्था स्मार्ट एजुकेशन एण्ड वैलफेयर एसोसिएशन (रजि.) सेवा लगातार सेव गर्ल चाइल्ड मुहीम को बढावा दे रही है। सेवा का मानना है कि बालिकाओं की शिक्षा बेहतर समाज बनाने के लिये बहुत ज़रुरी है। इसीलिये सेवा प्रदेश की प्रतिभाशाली बालिकाओं का सम्मान कर रही है। इसी कड़ी में आगरा से निकलकर टेलीविज़न की दुनिया में अपना खास मुकाम बनाने वाली टीना मेहता को सेवा ने सम्मानित किया।

      स्मार्ट एजुकेशन एण्ड वैलफेयर एसोसिएशन (रजि.) सेवा ने प्रतिभाशाली बालिकाओं को सम्मानिक करके सेव गर्ल चाइल्ड के नारे को सार्थक बनाने की पहल की है। बिना सरकारी आर्थिक सहायता को लगातार चार सालों से शिक्षा और स्वास्थ के क्षेत्र में काम करने वाली संस्था सेवा अब आगरा में भी निशुल्क शिक्षा केन्द्र शुरु करने की योजना पर काम कर रही है। साथ ही समाज में अपनी खास पहचान बनाने वाली प्रतिभाशाली बालिकाओं को प्रोत्साहन देने का काम भी किया जा रहा है। इसी कड़ी में आगरा से निकलकर मुम्बई में एकता कपूर की बालाजी फिल्मस् में क्रियेटिव हैड़ जैसे अहम पद पर काम करने वाली टीना मेहता को सेवा ने मंगलवार को सम्मानित किया। टीना मेहता सेवा की सेव गर्ल चाइल्ड मुहीम को प्रमोट करने के लिये यहां आयी थी। फतेहाबाद रोड़ के एक जाने माने रेस्त्रां में सेवा की और से शू एक्सपोर्टर वसीम अहमद ने बुके भेंटकर टीना को सम्मानित किया। इस मौके पर टीना मेहता ने कहा कि सेवा ने जिस तरह से बिना किसी सरकारी मदद के चार सालों से शिक्षा के प्रचार प्रसार का काम किया है वो दूसरों के लिये प्रेरणादायी है। उन्होने कहा कि आज के समाज में भी कन्या भ्रूण हत्या नही रुक रही है जो समाज में रुढीवाद को दर्शाता है। हम सब को सेवा की इस मुहीम में साथ आ कर इस खूनी मानसिकता का विरोध करना चाहिये।

      जाने-माने शू एक्सपोर्टर वसीम अहमद ने स्मार्ट एजुकेशन एण्ड वैलफेयर एसोसिएशन (रजि.) सेवा की सराहना करते हुये कहा कि ये बड़ी बात है कि कोआई संस्था बिना सरकारी मदद के इतने सालों से गरीब, बेसहारा बच्चों को साक्षर कर रही है। उन्हे सरकारी स्कूलों में दाखिले दिला रही है। उन्होने कहा कि हम सभी सेवा की सेव गर्ल चाइल्ड मुहीम का समर्थन करते हैं। वसीम अहमद का कहना था कि जब हम एक कन्या को साक्षर बनाते हैं तो हम एक पूरे परिवार और वंश का साक्षर करते हैं। उन्होने बालिकाओं को साक्षर किये जाने का पुरज़ोर समर्थन किया।

      सेवा की स्वंयसेवी लकी आलम ने जानकारी देते हुये बताया कि हमारी संस्था सहारनपुर और ग़ाज़ियाबाद के बाद आगरा में भी निशुल्क शिक्षा केन्द्र शुरु करने की योजना पर काम कर रही है। जल्द ही शहर में शिक्षा, स्वास्थ और पर्यावरण संरक्षण जागरुकता के कार्यक्रम आयोजित किये जायेंगे। इसके लिये शहर के पिछड़े और ग्रामीण क्षेत्रों पर ध्यान केन्द्रित किया जा रहा है। लकी आलम के मुताबिक इससे पहले सेवा आगरा में आईएएस इनायत खान को सम्मानित करने के अलावा वृक्षारोपण कार्यक्रम भी आयोजित कर चुकी है। आगे भी ये सिलसिला जारी रहेगा।

      इस मौके पर नंदु गुप्ता, रमीज़ राजा, धमेन्द्र कुमार, राशिद बेग, नेहा, इरफान अली, ज़फर अब्बास रिज़वी, प्रियांशी, अनिकेश आदि सेवा के कई स्वंयसेवी एंव गणमान्य नागरिक मौजूद रहे। कार्यक्रम का संचालन लकी आलम ने किया।
