International Day of the Girls Celebration



Reputed Non-Profit Organization, Smart Education & Welfare Association 'SEWA' and PSF Celebrate first International Day of the Girls in the city of Taj Mahal. This Day started in 2011 by the United Nation. International Day of the Girls dedicated to girl education and empowerment.
       October 11, is the First International Day of the Girl Child declared by The United Nations. It promotes girls’ rights and highlights gender inequalities that remain between girls and boys. The International Day of the Girl Child gives people and organizations the opportunity to raise public awareness of the different types of discrimination and abuse from which many girls around the world suffer.
        SEWA India and PSF Celebrate this occasion at Anwari Nilofer Girls Inter Collage, Mantola, Agra. Chief guest of programme ADM F/R Mr. CP Singh and Tourism Officer Geetanjali Yadav appreciate the work of SEWA. They appeal to students to get higher education for the bright future. Senior Volunteer S.Raju told to guest and students about work of SEWA India. He said SEWA will start a self employment trainig center and free education center in Agra very soon. He gave thanks to Chief Guest and collage staff for their cooperation in this event. On this occasion Collage Principal Mrs. Paini Kapoor, boys collage Principal Dr. Mohd. Mazhar, Choudhry Masroor Qureshi, Mrs. Beena Gaba, Mohd. Aakil, Anita Singh, Rameez Raja, Deepak Kumar, Zafar Abbas Rizvi, Dharmendra Singh, Haji Anjum Qureshi Saltanat Baig etc was present.
