Teachers Day Celebration at SEWA Center


The mahila udyog vyapar pratinidhimandal and many trade & social group celebrate teacher’s day with poor and needy children at Free Education Center of reputed nonprofit organization Smart Education & Welfare Association (SEWA). On this occasion they honor SEWA’s volunteer teacher Trannum Janha. Team SEWA gave thanks to all the member of trade and social organization for this visit to their free education center.
The members of Mahila Udyog Vyapar Pratinidhimandal, Sadbhawna Mission and Saharanpur Vyapar Pratinidhimandal reached to SEWA Free Education Center for the celebration of teacher’s day. First they honor volunteer teacher mrs. Tarannum Janha with Shaal and flowers. After that all guest had interaction with students. They had words with children and distributed copy, pencils and sweets also. Children were very happy.
According to Senior Volunteer of SEWA Mrs Neena Dhingra and In charge of center M. Tabrez, The SMART EDUCATION & WELFARE ASSOCIATION® SEWA is registered under the Uttar Pradesh Societies Registration Act 1860. SEWA was founded on July 2009 by a noted and national media excellence award winner, a television journalist and social activist, Mr. Parvez Sagar. The idea behind the same was to make people from weaker sections of the society aware about their basic rights, so as to empower them in securing a due share in the resource churning of the country. The SEWA is committed to strengthen the Socio-economic weaker class by educating them and providing proper health services in their own local areas. Presently, the contribution for running this organization is informal made by way of its members and few supporters. Other than health and education, essential aspects related to environment, child right, women empowerment, vocational trainings, education for special children, social services including cloth and a book bank, etc are also integral part of SEWA’s working philosophies. It has been continuously working and rendering its help and support without any government funding.
On this occasion Chief guest Rohit Arora, Professor SK Upadhyay, Daljeet singh kocher,  Mrs. Alpna Talwar, Shiv Kumar Gaur, Sardar Jawaher singh dua, RK Malhotra, Surendra mohan chawla were specially present there. SEWA’s Coordinator Mohd. Tanveer, Mrs. Hameeda Asgar, Mrs. Aruna Birla, Gayyur Idrisi, Mrs. Rajendra Kaur, Mrs. Pratibha Shrivastav and Neeraj Jain made this event successful. Team SEWA India gave thanks to all the member of trade and social organization for this programme.
